Discover the urgent research and innovation taking place to design a future for fashion that is both stylish and sustainable. It brings together a diversity of designers from across the fashion industry who are revolutionising the way we create, make, and wear clothes.

Design Researchers in Residence: Artificial

A free display of new design research responding to the climate crisis. This year's Design Researchers in Residence responded to the theme of ‘Artificial’, questioning the limits of human-centred design in a more-than-human climate crisis. Free entry.

The Ralph Saltzman Prize 2025

Returning to the Design Museum for its fourth year, The Ralph Saltzman Prize celebrates emerging product designers, in recognition of Saltzman’s design legacy. Visit to discover In June 2025, the work of designer Lulu Harrison, recipient of this year's prize for her project Thames Glass.

Designer Maker User

Designer Maker User is an introduction to the museum’s collection, looking at the development of modern design through these three interconnected roles. Free entry.

Fables for our Time

Displayed on our tri-wall on Level 2, Fables for our Time is a triptych of stories about environmental urgencies, that uses folktales and a new collection of emoji to examine humanity’s relationship with the natural environment.

Dwellings, Rehomed

Visit our garden and explore a vibrant collection of birdhouses by some of London’s most innovative designers. Responding to the challenge of reimagining the humble birdhouse, each design on display creates a space for our feathered friends to live in, and for humans to reflect upon.
